I am excited to be advertising in the next three issues of my favorite magazine, SOUTHERN LADY. I was fortunate to have a wonderful article written about me in last November’s issue. I have met many wonderful people through the connection to this beautiful publication.

I was hoping I would be able to participate in the Carolina Craftsmen Craft Show in Myrtle Beach this August. I have been an exhibitor there for the past few years. Sadly, I will not be able to attend. I love the show and hope to be back in 2011. The show is a wonderful one. I hope anyone reading this who will be in Myrtle Beach the beginning of August will visit the show. The show features beautiful artwork and wonderful American craft. I will post detailed information asap.

I am amazed that June is almost over. I am presently working on a new design for a birthday card. I have some wonderful quotations to incorporate into the illustration. When the card is reproduced I can personalize it in pen and ink with the birthday person’s name and birthdate. Fun!

I am working to get some personalized pictures up onto my website. I incorporate names and messages into my artwork. Presently I am also illustrating the word LOVE for a wedding gift with the names of the couple and wedding date. I use a “3D” method on this particular picture…inspired by Avatar!

I have been working on personalized Mother’s Day cards. This is the first year I have personalized cards from my card line. It has been really fun. I cannot wait until Christmas!

I have been happily working on personalizing my Easter card picture orders. They have been mailed this week. I will not be doing any spring shows this year. I hope to be back in Myrtle Beach for the Craftsmen Classic in August.
